AUSTIN, Texas - Appears Juan Pablo Montoya may be adding another car to his repertoire, in the form of a Porsche 919 Hybrid.
This year’s Verizon IndyCar Series runner-up is a guest of the Porsche Team this weekend at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, and drew some headlines once Porsche Team put it out in the open on Twitter.
JPM says he loves Porsche and he loves endurance racing, especially fascinated by Le Mans. Talks are taking place about a possible test.

Montoya spoke to Sportscar365 regarding his potential test with the team, although he didn’t have too much to say.
We saw what Nico Hulkenberg could do alongside Porsche factory sports car aces Nick Tandy and Earl Bamber, in this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.
We’ll see whether Montoya actually is able to test the car, or whether Team Penske will allow it.
Montoya was spotted with Team Penske president Tim Cindric earlier today, so this would give some credence to potentially allowing it to happen.
