If it has four wheels, Tanner Foust can drive it – and with outstanding aplomb.
The champion racer and stunt driver is featured in a new video called “Quantum Drift” that displays his versatility behind the wheel of several different types of race vehicles, from drift cars to off-road vehicles.
Foust not only has conquered Formula Drift, Rallycross and the X Games in his career, he’s also one of the hosts of the U.S. version of the popular TV show Top Gear.
Foust not only displays his massive talent in the video, playing a key supporting role is his “magic yellow” steering wheel, which also is featured prominently in the video.
The video launched Tuesday on the YouTube channel of Foust’s primary sponsor, Rockstar Energy Drink.
“The concept is inspired by this nerdy TV show that I used to watch,” Foust says in a media release, paying homage to the 1980s science fiction TV show “Quantum Leap.”
“We dreamt up an action sequence that basically gave me the chance to drive as many fun machines as possible in one video,” Foust said.
The three-time U.S. rallycross champion (2010, 2011 and 2012), four-time X Games gold medalist (2007, 2010 and 2013) and two-time Formula Drift champ (2007, 2008) pilots six different types of vehicles in the video, including:
A 600 horsepower Rockstar Energy Drink Volkswagen Beetle, a Polaris RZR UTV, a 900 horsepower drift Passat, a Porsche 912E, a boat and a regular street car for family time.
