Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden appeared on NASCAR America on Wednesday to discuss his mindset ahead of his first race with the team at this weekend’s Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Linked to the Roger Penske-led outfit several times during the 2016 season, Newgarden signed with them early last October, joining Simon Pagenaud, Will Power, and Helio Castroneves.
Among the topics discussed were his interactions with members of the Penske organization, including its Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series teams, and how he is adapting to a new environment.
