Earlier this week, the first batch of 2018 aero kits began arriving for Verizon IndyCar Series teams who have not been involved in manufacturer testing. Of note, Andretti Autosport and Dale Coyne Racing took to twitter to reveal that they had received their first deliveries.

As individual IndyCar teams receive their 2018 components, the focus will shift from manufacturer testing - Team Penske and Ed Carpenter Racing have have handled Chevrolet testing while Chip Ganassi Racing and Schmidt Peterson Motorsports have done the same for Honda - to development and testing by the individual teams.

Team testing for the 2018 aero kits remains scheduled for January of 2018, as INDYCAR confirmed after releasing information about cost reductions for the chassis earlier in November.
