Conor Daly announced a week ago at Barber Motorsports Park he would be returning to the Indianapolis 500 in 2015 with Schmidt Peterson Motorsports.

This morning at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Daly’s livery and sponsor on his No. 43 Honda was revealed, and it’s a good one.

Smithfield Foods, which serves as primary sponsor of Aric Almirola’s No. 43 Ford for Richard Petty Motorsports in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, will serve as primary sponsor of the “Fueled by Bacon” special for Daly in this year’s ‘500.

Founded in Smithfield, Virginia in 1936, this global food company is the world’s largest provider of high-quality pork products.

“Motorsports has proven to be a dynamic and productive marketing tool for our brands; we have brought our associations to the store and fans have responded phenomenally,” Bob Weber, Smithfield vp of corporate marketing said in a release.

“IndyCar represented the next horizon for us, and our partnership with Schmidt Peterson Motorsports and driver Conor Daly, whom I have monitored since his days in karting, is a very special opportunity. I’m not sure how we could make our debut into this sport at a better venue than at the Greatest Spectacle in Racing!”

A couple photos from the car reveal were posted to Twitter this morning; Daly completed his refresher course earlier today.
