While the race for the drivers’ championship may have ended two races ago in Mexico, there is still plenty to play for at the Formula 1 season-closer in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel’s tight battle at the front of the field earlier in the year made a championship showdown in Abu Dhabi seem inevitable, only for a swing in momentum through the Asian flyaways to result in an early coronation for the Mercedes driver.

Valtteri Bottas will look to end the season on a high at the Yas Marina Circuit with a third victory, but with Hamilton hungry to cap off his title year with another victory, the Finn is unlikely to have things all his own way.

Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo also remain forces at the front of the pack for Ferrari and Red Bull, creating the possibility of a close scrap as night falls at Yas Marina.
