Denny Hamlin may not be able to race at the moment, but the Joe Gibbs Racing driver is still bringing his A-game to Twitter.
Hamlin, sidelined after contact with Joey Logano at Auto Club Speedway last month, opined on the points penalties NASCAR handed down to Penske Racing after this past weekend’s race at Texas Motor Speedway.
Hamlin incurred one of the year’s most notable penalties after he was fined $25,000 for, in NASCAR’s eyes, criticizing the racing product after the Phoenix race in February.

USA Today Sports’ Jeff Gluck called it the “Tweet of the day,” and Hamlin replied noting how Logano’s contact cost him points at Fontana, beyond the obvious cost of injury.

Hamlin did several interviews after his accident and he was released from the hospital, including on The Dan Patrick Show. Mark Martin (Martinsville) and Brian Vickers (Texas) have filled in for Hamlin in his absence.
