The first of the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup “road course ringers” was announced Tuesday. Justin Marks, a longtime NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor and veteran sports car racer, will take over Dave Blaney’s usual No. 7 Chevrolet for Tommy Baldwin Racing at Race Sonoma.
Marks continues his relationship with sponsor GoPro, which will sponsor the car. GoPro activated its sponsorship as the title sponsor of last year’s IndyCar race at the track, the GoPro Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma.
Marks has a class win at the 2009 Rolex 24 at Daytona with TRG and is a former BMW factory driver.
