Could Montoya emerge victorious at the Glen?

If Marcos Ambrose is the acknowledged guy to beat at Watkins Glen, Juan Pablo Montoya is a close second.

He was the last guy to win here other than the Tasmanian, in 2010. And he hasn’t won since.

This would be a good time for Montoya to check another win off his list. He won the pole last year, and also has two top-five and four top-10 finishes in six prior Watkins Glen starts.

Montoya will make the Nationwide race interesting too, as he’ll add some commentary from the broadcast booth.

This season, Montoya ranks only 23rd in the point standings with two top-fives and four top-10 finishes. His Chase for the Sprint Cup chances are remote at best.
