It will be a busy Formula One season finale for Pirelli, who are not only bringing their hard “orange” and medium “white” compounds for this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos (Sun., 11 a.m. ET, NBC and NBC Sports Live Extra) but also a batch of their 2014 prototypes for teams to test during the Friday practice sessions, as announced earlier this month.
According to the tire manufacturer, each car will have two sets of the 2014 tires to use in Free Practice 1 and 2. These will feature the 2014 construction and profile paired with the 2014 medium compound.
