NASCAR Charlotte test moved due to weather

NASCAR’s planned test at the Charlotte Motor Speedway was originally set for today, but has been moved to Wednesday, Dec. 11 due to inclement weather.

Teams will still have the option to be on track from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the afternoon, Gene Stefanyshyn, NASCAR vice president of innovation and racing development and Robin Pemberton, NASCAR vice president of competition and racing development will have a media availability to provide updates.

The weather is the official reason for the delay, although some fans made good guesses on an alternative reason – that drivers might still be recovering from Champion’s Week in Las Vegas…
