With all the new technical innovations coming next season for Formula One, teams are working double-time to get their 2014 machines ready to go. One of their many tasks: Making sure their new cars pass the crash tests during the homologation process.
Earlier today, Caterham announced that their chassis has passed and then proceeded to go one step further by posting footage of the tests themselves on their YouTube account.
Caterham is the second team to pass the tests, as Sauber announced the homologation of its new C33 earlier this week. But while Sauber has just one seat left to fill with the signing of Adrian Sutil, Caterham’s two seats both remain open at this time.
