Formula 1 returns to North America this weekend for the Canadian Grand Prix, and following the tantalizing race in Monaco last time out, it promises to be a great event.
Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will go toe-to-toe once again in the battle for the championship lead, but the advantage currently lies with the German driver after his win in Monaco.
The first on-track action in Canada this weekend will be the first free practice session. CLICK HERE to watch FP1 via live stream. Coverage starts at 11am ET.
FP1 will see American driver Alexander Rossi get out on track for the first time this year for Caterham. The team’s reserve driver is vying for an F1 seat in the near future, and this run-out should allow him to get to grips with the 2014 car. We spoke to him yesterday about his future and the possibility of a drive with Gene Haas’ new F1 team.
With a 50/50 chance of rain, it could be a very interesting first session. Who will draw first blood in Canada? Find out by watching FP1 live from 11am ET. CLICK HERE to watch via live stream.
Please note that there will be no commentary from the NBCSN team for this session, but it will instead purely be the FOM world feed.
