NASCAR AMERICA Minute: What makes Pocono unique? (VIDEO)

Track promoters like to call Pocono Raceway the “Tricky Triangle.” But with all of its different challenges, teams and drivers can often feel like they’re in the Bermuda Triangle.

Boasting three turns with different levels of banking plus three straightaways of different length, Pocono can be incredibly difficult to master for even the best.

Kyle Petty was able to win at Pocono in 1993, and in today’s NASCAR AMERICA Minute, he explains how the 2.5-mile Pennsylvania oval is unlike anything else that the Sprint Cup contingent sees all year long.

For more on this weekend’s 400 at Pocono, tune in for today’s episode of NASCAR AMERICA at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra.
