What’s quickly become one of the more popular offseason events for IndyCar, the Dan Wheldon Memorial Pro-Am Karting Challenge, had some of its key details revealed on Tuesday. It occurs Sept. 20 at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indianapolis.
It’s both a race and a fundraiser at the same time. Last year, the event raised more than $100,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.
