Per reports by both Autosport and the Indianapolis Star, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing has made changes to its engineering staff.
All of Bill Pappas, Mitch Davis and John Dick have opted to pursue other opportunities. Pappas moved over to RLL this year from Dale Coyne Racing, where he had previously worked with Justin Wilson.
Eddie Jones, a team engineering holdover who has previously worked with James Jakes (2013) and others, will take over on Graham Rahal’s No. 15 entry. Additionally, Mike Talbott, most recently with HPD, will assist with research and development.
RLL heads into the IndyCar offseason with these adjustments, and also seeks a sponsor to replace the National Guard.
