Formula 1 heads to Singapore this weekend for its second annual ‘glamor event’ of the year. In just six seasons, the race at Marina Bay has already become one of the most popular and anticipated grands prix on the calendar, and marks the beginning of the final run-in to the end of the season.
Ahead of the race in Singapore, NBCSN’s Will Buxton brings you all of the latest news and interviews from the paddock at Marina Bay in the latest instalment of NBC Sports’ original digital series “Paddock Pass”.
In part one, Will speaks to a number of drivers about the planned restrictions on radio communications for this weekend’s race after the FIA’s ruling since the last race in Italy. We also hear from Daniel Riccciardo about life as one of the few drivers to have a secure seat for next year, and McLaren’s Jenson Button speaks about the arrival of Peter Prodromou at Woking.
Part two is all about the championship tussle as we hear from both Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton. The intra-team battle at Mercedes has been the story of the season, and with just six races to go, this weekend’s race in Singapore could be pivotal in deciding who wins out at the end of the year.
You can watch the Singapore Grand Prix live on NBCSN and Live Extra this Sunday from 7.30am ET.
