Another Chaser finds trouble in N.H., and this time, it’s Matt Kenseth

Add Matt Kenseth to the list of Chase drivers that have had problems in today’s Challenger Round race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

With 31 laps to go, Paul Menard got loose underneath Kenseth in Turns 3 and 4, and then washed up into Kenseth. The 2003 Sprint Cup champion was then spun into the Turn 4 wall.

Kenseth took a hard hit, but got a quick repair and returned to action. However, he is now outside of the Top 25 after running in the Top 10 for much of the afternoon.

The incident adds to Joe Gibbs Racing’s trying day in the Granite State. In addition to Kenseth, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch have also been involved in crashes during the second half of today’s race.
