F1: Austin Fan Forum set for Oct. 29 during U.S. Grand Prix week

Heading for this year’s United States Grand Prix early? If so, you’ll want to check this event out.

The Austin Fan Forum will take place on Wednesday, October 29 at the Gibson Showroom in Austin, Texas – two days before the USGP gets roaring at the Circuit of the Americas.

During the Forum, current and former F1 drivers will sit down for Q-and-A sessions with fans and also sign autographs. A list of drivers that will appear has yet to be released (we’ll keep you posted).

Doors will open Oct. 29 at 5:30 p.m. local time with the Forum beginning at 6 p.m. Drinks will be provided for all attendees, and transportation between downtown Austin and the Gibson Showroom will be available.

Admission to the event is free. BUT – that’s a big but, not a little one – you must register online at CircuitOfTheAmericas.com/F1/FanForum. And it’s first-come, first-served, too. And if you go, you’ll have to bring ID with you as well.

For those that can’t make it, the Forum will be streamed online and on-demand starting the following day.
