Pirelli confirms tire choice for final three Grands Prix

Pirelli has confirmed the tire choice for the final three Grands Prix, after this week’s Russian Grand Prix. They’re three separate prime and alternate combinations.

The United States Grand Prix at Austin on Nov. 2 will feature Pirelli’s soft (alternate) and medium (prime) compounds. The medium compound becomes the alternate at the Brazilian Grand Prix (Nov. 9), with the Pirelli hard compound the prime there.

Finally for the double points season finale in Abu Dhabi (Nov. 23), teams will have the super soft (alternate) and the soft (prime) to play from. The super soft/soft combo was used from the Monaco through Austrian races, and additionally at Singapore last month.
