Rossi: American support will get me to F1 (VIDEO)

In an interview with NBCSN’s Will Buxton during practice for this weekend’s United States Grand Prix, American racer Alexander Rossi has spoken about the recent events at Marussia which have denied him a possible F1 debut for a third time.

Rossi looked poised to line up on the grid in Austin this weekend to make his first full F1 start, only for Marussia to enter administration and fail to make the race at the Circuit of The Americas.

However, Rossi has still made an appearance in the paddock, and thanked the American fans for their support and enthusiasm as he continues to vie for a seat on the grid in the near future.

Many American fans were disappointed that Rossi would not be racing at COTA, with one telling MotorSportsTalk’s Tony DiZinno that he felt “crushed” by the events that have denied the Californian an F1 debut.
