Hinch hits up Honda’s simulator, for “training” (VIDEO)

With actual on-track testing fairly limited in the Verizon IndyCar Series offseason, drivers often rely on simulators to get prepped for their next on-track opportunity.

James Hinchcliffe is yet to make his on-track debut with his new team Schmidt Peterson Motorsports (outside of pedaling a bike to an Indiana Pacers preseason game), but the Canadian did spend some time recently at Honda Performance Development’s (HPD’s) simulator in Brownsburg.

In typical off-the-wall “Hinch” fashion, his simulator time began as normal, and then quickly went off script. SPM has released a video on Hinch’s “day in the life” at the HPD simulator.
