The Dover (Del.) Police Department has completed its investigation into the alleged domestic assault charges filed against Kurt Busch.
A statement from the department reads:
“The Dover Police Department completed the investigation of Kurt Busch a few weeks ago and has since forwarded their findings along with all evidence and statements to the Kent County Attorney General’s Office. Their office will review the findings of (the) investigation and make a decision whether Mr. Busch will be charged or not.”
Busch’s ex-girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll, alleges several things against Busch, most of which were outlined in court documents identified in an Associated Press report. Last month, she testified in a protection order hearing, and and Busch testified a day later to call her allegations a “fabrication.”
Via Sporting News’ Bob Pockrass, Busch is scheduled to appear in Delaware family court Monday, in a continuation of that hearing.
