F1: Were Lewis Hamilton’s 30th ‘birthday wishes’ from Nico Rosberg sincere or more trash talking?

The supposed Nico Rosberg-Lewis Hamilton Jr. feud is over. Even AMG Mercedes point man and former Formula One champ Niki Lauda has said so.

Or is it really?

Given that Rosberg is still doing a bit of what, on the surface, may seem like good-natured trash talking to Hamilton, we have to wonder if the two AMG Mercedes teammates have really kissed and made up.

According to PaddockTalk.com, Rosberg tweeted happy 30th birthday wishes to Hamilton on Wednesday.

“Happy birthday Lewis — 30! Have a great party! This day is good for me. You are old now, so hopefully it will be easier for me this year.”

We don’t know about you, but ribbing a guy about turning 30 – especially when Rosberg is only six months younger than Hamilton – is fightin’ words.

Or at least words to keep their feud going.

Don’t forget, at the end of this past season, a miffed Rosberg – maybe he was just being a sore loser for not winning the F1 title – said that he and Hamilton, who’ve known each other for over 20 years, were “not friends.”
