With the Verizon IndyCar Series season now less than two months away, construction is now ongoing at the Autodromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in Brasilia.
The series returns to Brazil this year after a one-year hiatus. It had run for four years on the streets of Sao Paulo from 2010 to 2013, and prior to that, at the Emerson Fittipaldi Speedway in Rio de Janeiro from 1996 through 2000.
Tony Cotman has been down to Brazil to inspect and oversee the track previously.
The series opens its 2015 season on March 8, and the race will be on NBCSN.
