Sauber has revealed its test lineup for the upcoming first Formula One preseason test at Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
The all-new Sauber C34 will first be piloted by Marcus Ericsson on the opening day of the session and he’ll get it back for the fourth and final day. Fellow team newcomer Felipe Nasr will be in the car for the second and third days. As for the team’s new test/reserve driver, Raffaele Marciello, he will not be taking part.
Ericsson, the former Caterham racer, and Nasr, the former Williams tester, will be counted on to help Sauber recover from a horrible 2014 season that saw the team fail to earn a single World Championship point with former drivers Esteban Gutierrez (now a reserve at Ferrari) and Adrian Sutil.
