Ahead of the car’s launch on Saturday, Scuderia Toro Rosso has released a small teaser video of the new STR10, its 2015 challenger.
After evolving from Minardi back in 2006, Toro Rosso is celebrating its tenth season in Formula 1 in 2015, and boasts an all-new line-up after Jean-Eric Vergne’s dismissal and Daniil Kvyat’s promotion to a seat at Red Bull.
17-year-old Max Verstappen will become the youngest driver in the history of Formula 1 to start a race at the Australian Grand Prix, having impressed during his solitary season in single seaters in 2014. The Dutchman is joined by Spain’s Carlos Sainz Jr, winner of last year’s Formula Renault 3.5 championship and son of rally legend Carlos Sainz.
The video snippet was taken from a short filming day at Misano and confirms that the livery of the STR10 will remain fundamentally the same as last year’s car.
Toro Rosso will officially unveil the car on Saturday ahead of the first pre-season test in Jerez, Spain, which starts on Sunday.
