It’s not that often drivers from the Verizon IndyCar Series get featured in lifestyle elements beyond racing publications and websites, but two of the series’ drivers have upcoming elements to promote.
First up, Chip Ganassi Racing’s Tony Kanaan is on the cover an upcoming issue of Pattern Indy magazine.
Kanaan, driver of the No. 10 NTT Data Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet, had his cover released earlier Tuesday (linked below). Kanaan’s fitness regimen has been well-documented over the length of his IndyCar career, dating to his rookie season in 1998, and this feature is expected to look at Kanaan’s performance output off the track as well as his on-track accolades.
Meanwhile Team Penske’s Simon Pagenaud is the honorary chairman for May’s Rev Indy event, a party highlighting Indianapolis’ food culture. Pagenaud and others involved with the event completed a photoshoot a couple weeks ago. More information on that is linked here via the Indianapolis Star.

Both drivers competed in the Rolex 24 at Daytona to end the month of January. Kanaan won overall co-driving the No. 02 Chip Ganassi Racing Riley-Ford, while Pagenaud was part of the lineup that finished third in the GT Le Mans class, co-driving the No. 4 Corvette C7.R.
