Nico Rosberg has announced on Twitter that his wife Vivian is expecting their first child, due in the August of this year.
In a message sent out from his official account, the German driver confirmed that they are to have a baby girl, prompting congratulatory messages from many members of the F1 community.

Rosberg is set to join the ‘parents club’ in F1 which currently comprises of Grosjean, Kimi Raikkonen, Sebastian Vettel, Pastor Maldonado and Felipe Massa.
The German driver managed to recover from a strain on a nerve in his neck to take part in testing on Friday morning before handing the reins over to Lewis Hamilton in the afternoon.
