Audi Sport works driver Loic Duval will make his FIA Formula E debut this weekend in the Miami ePrix, filling in for Oriol Servia at Dragon Racing.
No reason was given for the change, revealed via the FE website.
Duval is the second Audi LMP1 driver who races in FE, along with Lucas di Grassi of Audi Sport Abt. He also has extensive open-wheel experience thanks to his racing in Super Formula in Japan.
Meanwhile Servia joins Marco Andretti as drivers with past IndyCar experience who were due to race at Miami but have since dropped off the entry list. Scott Speed was announced last week to fill in for Andretti at Andretti Autosport, due to a testing conflict for Marco.
The Miami ePrix runs this Saturday, March 14, to mark the electric open-wheel series’ U.S. race debut.
