Manor F1 Team has confirmed Roberto Merhi as its second driver and Jordan King as a development driver, to round out its lineup heading into the season opening Australian Grand Prix.

The team issued the announcements late Monday night U.S., or Tuesday in Australia where the revived team is due to race. Will Stevens has been named as first driver.

Merhi, the 23-year-old Spaniard, ran in a handful of Free Practice 1 sessions a year ago for Caterham and while rumored to make his race debut on more than one occasion, it never happened. A host of others were tossed about in connection with the seat.

King, meanwhile, is the 21-year-old son of ex-Sainsbury’s CEO Justin King, who has been appointed as the team’s interim chairman. The F3 veteran will move into GP2 this season with Racing Engineering.
