Will Kimmel uninjured as car flies off track and into parking lot in ARCA race (VIDEO)

ARCA driver Will Kimmel was uninjured in a spectacular wreck Saturday at Mobile (Ala.) International Speedway when his race car flew over a concrete barrier and landed in the track parking lot, striking at least one parked car.

According to a variety of tweets and Facebook messages, it appears the throttle on Kimmel’s car stuck in the early going of the ARCA Mobile 200.

A post on Kimmel’s Facebook page also said that the 26-year-old driver was uninjured and is okay.

Ironically, Kimmel’s uncle, legendary 10-time ARCA champion Frank, saw his streak of 387 consecutive starts in the series come to an end, as he did not compete in the race.
