Montoya, Castroneves still 1-2 in IndyCar points; Newgarden jumps to P4

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Despite finishes of 14th and 15th, Team Penske teammates Juan Pablo Montoya and Helio Castroneves still lead the Verizon IndyCar Series points standings following today’s thrilling Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park.

But race winner Josef Newgarden is in a great spot, now fourth in points and only a spot behind three-time series champion Scott Dixon.
