Bryan Herta Autosport announced Friday it has partnered with Angie’s List, an Indianapolis-based company and title sponsor of the May 9th Grand Prix of Indianapolis, to be the sponsor for its No. 98 Honda driven by Gabby Chaves in the race.
Chaves, the 2014 Indy Lights champion, will sport the green and white colors of Angie’s List, a company that connects customers to service providers through online review.
“I am very excited to be part of this partnership with Angie’s List. Not only are they the title sponsor for the Grand Prix of Indianapolis, but they also are a local Indianapolis company, and that makes the connection even stronger,” Chaves said in a release. “I will be looking forward to a very exciting Angie’s List Grand Prix and putting forward all the efforts necessary to take us to the top step of the podium!”
Through four races this year, while being sponsored by audio equipment company Bowers & Wilkins, the Colombia native has an average finish of 16th. In the two Indy Lights races on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course last year, Chaves started second in both before finishing 11th (engine) and eighth.
The Grand Prix of Indianapolis was the site of success for BHA in 2014. Jack Hawksworth, who is now with A.J. Foyt, was behind the wheel of the No. 98 when he qualified second and led a race high 31 laps before finish seventh.
