Sage Karam has had an eventful day.
The Chip Ganassi Racing driver started it out with announcement that Indiana-based Ivy Tech Community College would be a partial sponsor for his No. 8 COMFORT REVOLUTION/Big Machine Records Chevrolet in the Indianapolis 500.
Then the 20-year-old driver took part in a Q & A at the school’s Automotive Technology Center.
Karam, who will compete in his second Indianapolis 500, topped it off Friday night by throwing out the first pitch at Victory Field, home of the Indianapolis Indians, a Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
