James Hinchcliffe won’t have a livery on his No. 5 Arrow/Lucas Oil Schmidt Peterson Honda anytime soon.
But his own brew is getting a new look for the month of May.
Hinchcliffe posted a picture to Instagram this morning of the new look, which sees the previously red cans now adopting a white and blue look, with Hinchcliffe’s helmet in the frame and red accents.
It replaces the old can, pictured right.
It’s good news in some respects that Hinchcliffe is online and able to post the pic, because it means he and fellow IndyCar comedic genius Josef Newgarden are still in one piece after Tuesday night.
Newgarden posted a photo to Instagram where he and Hinchcliffe drove off in Marco Andretti’s McLaren.
Just business as usual before the month of May on-track activity resumes on Thursday, with practice for the Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis.
