Chip Ganassi Racing’s cars will have alternate liveries for this weekend’s upcoming Firestone 600 at the Texas Motor Speedway, and only Charlie Kimball will have carryover from the same livery as at Detroit last weekend.
Scott Dixon’s No. 9 car will return to Energizer colors – it’s a partner he has won with before, at Watkins Glen.
Meanwhile Tony Kanaan will swap the Big Machine Records Taylor Swift livery on his No. 10 car for a slightly different shade of white and blue for NTT Data. See his new livery, and actual car, below:
Sage Karam’s previously yellow-and-black Comfort Revolution/Big Machine No. 8 car will be primarily white and blue with Lexar signage.
Karam, who had a rough weekend in Detroit with multiple penalties assessed, is looking forward to his first start at Texas.
“I’ve had Texas circled on the calendar since the start of the year. It’s such a fast track that rewards high speeds, and I think that really suits my driving style. I’ll be looking to my teammates for advice and setup information here as this will be my first race at TMS in an Indy car. It seems like they always manage to have an exciting race there and I can’t wait to finally be a part of one.”
