The final practice for the Firestone 600 at Texas Motor Speedway ended in a tie, as Graham Rahal and Juan Pablo Montoya both posted a fast speed of 215.002 mph around the 1.5-mile track.
Rahal was one of three Honda’s in the top five, including Gabby Chaves in P3 (214.796), and Ryan Hunter-Reay in P5.
Tony Kanaan was P4 with a speed of 214.750 mph. Polesitter Will Power finished the session in 11th.
Hunter-Reay bounced back from qualifying in 21st in the 23 -field and wrecking in the first practice session of the day.
