New babies have been all the rage in NASCAR this year, but not so much in IndyCar.
That changed on Tuesday with Luca Filippi of CFH Racing confirming via a tweet that he’s joined the new parents club, with the birth of daughter Mia.
The birth for Filippi and wife Elisa was well-timed, as it followed on from Filippi’s career-best runner-up finish in Toronto, after his first oval test in Iowa, and before his next start at Mid-Ohio on August 2 in the No. 20 Fuzzy’s Vodka Chevrolet.
We wish the new parents all the best.
