Gabby Chaves must be restless.
The Verizon IndyCar Series has the week off following last weekend’s action in Iowa, but the Bryan Herta Autosport rookie is keeping busy.
Chaves will slow things down a bit in his first USAC Midget race in Saturday’s Tony Stewart Classic at the Indianapolis Speedrome.
The TSC is a 100-lap event at the 1/5-mile paved oval..
This isn’t the only branching out Chaves has done. A week ago Chaves was behind the wheel of a BHA Red Bull Global Rally Car.
Chaves currently sits 16th in the IndyCar standings, top rookie and 39 points clear of Sage Karam.
