Following the month-long summer break, Formula 1 returns this weekend with the Belgian Grand Prix at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
Lewis Hamilton arrives at Spa as the championship leader, enjoying a 21 point advantage over Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg at the top of the drivers’ standings.
However, with Ferrari showing signs of resurgence in recent weeks and the midfield remaining as close as ever, this weekend’s race is set to throw up many more questions than answers.
Ahead of the race weekend in Belgium, Will Buxton brings you all of the news, interviews and analysis in the latest edition of NBC Sports Group original digital series “Paddock Pass”.
In part one, we catch up from Will Stevens, Kimi Raikkonen, Daniil Kvyat and Max Verstappen following the summer break and hear how they’re feeling heading into the second half of the season.
In part two, Will meets Force India engineer Tom McCullough to discuss the changes that have been made for the Belgian Grand Prix as the team continues to fight back from a tough start to the year. We also hear from Fernando Alonso, a man who can sympathise with Force India’s plight following McLaren’s struggles in 2015.
