Fans are now able give for their favorite drivers a FanBoost vote ahead of the start of the second FIA Formula E season in Beijing next weekend.

In the inaugural 2014/2015 campaign, fans were able to give drivers two energy boosts during races by voting for them via the Formula E app and website.

For season two, there have been some minor tweaks to FanBoost, with the stand-out change being that it remains open for the first six minutes of the race. This will allow fans to react to the on-track action and vote later before the three winners are announced.

With just nine days to go until the Beijing ePrix kicks off and the second Formula E season gets undeway, FanBoost is now open for fans to vote via the app, website, or even on Twitter and Instagram.

A live leaderboard has also been introduced for season two, allowing fans to see in real time who has received the most votes and what the gaps are between drivers.

The season two grid boasts a number of stars from other racing championships including 1997 Formula 1 title winner Jacques Villeneuve, IndyCar driver Simona de Silvestro and newly-crowned Blancpain GT champion Robin Frijns.
