Jolyon Palmer will enjoy his 11th practice outing of the 2015 Formula 1 season on Friday ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix, deputizing for Romain Grosjean once again.

Palmer has spent 2015 working a reserve role at Lotus to prepare him for his full race debut in 2016 when he will replace Grosjean, who is bound for Haas F1 Team.

The Briton had been due to take part in practice for the United States Grand Prix last weekend, but the limited Friday running was given to Grosjean before Palmer’s planned FP2 run was washed out by rain.

Palmer confirmed on his Twitter account that he would be taking part in FP1 on Friday at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, barring anything intervening.
