Formula 1’s return to Mexico after a 23-year absence has already gone down as a resounding success thanks to the impressive Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit and grandstands packed with fans for practice and qualifying.

However, attention now turns to the race itself as Mercedes teammates Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton prepare to renew their rivalry at the front of the field following a turbulent United States Grand Prix one week ago.

Rosberg was aggrieved with Hamilton’s aggressive pass at the beginning of the race as the Briton proved that he would not pull out of a move just because it was on his teammate.

With Rosberg riled up, we could be poised for an epic fight at the front of the field between the two Mercedes drivers across the course of the 71-lap race in Mexico on Sunday.

Just behind the Mercedes drivers on the grid, Sebastian Vettel continues to pose an ever-present threat from Ferrari as he bids to beat Rosberg to second place in the drivers’ championship.

With Williams, Red Bull and Force India also all looking quick at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, we are poised for a thrilling race in Mexico on Sunday that will delight the sell-out crowd.
