Preparations continue for Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires champion Spencer Pigot, who will run at least three races in the Verizon IndyCar Series next season with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.
Pigot, who should have his first test with RLL Racing in the new year after the testing blackout ends, has stopped by the team’s Brownsburg, Indiana headquarters today for his seat fit with the team.
He posted a picture of it, below:

Pigot is confirmed for at least the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis and 100th Indianapolis 500 races, with hopes of more.
He and his team are working towards putting together an extended program beyond those three, perhaps upwards of half a season if the necessary budget can be found.
