Tony Kanaan took to Instagram on Sunday to proudly reveal his incredible new tattoo celebrating his IndyCar career.

Kanaan won the IndyCar title back in 2004, his second full season, and has taken 16 wins during his time in the series.

Arguably, Kanaan’s finest hour came at the 2013 Indianapolis 500 when he battled from 12th on the grid to pass Ryan Hunter-Reay for victory late on. Upon winning the race, Kanaan said: “Finally they’re going to put my ugly face on this trophy.”

Just as there was a bit of Kanaan on the trophy, the trophy is now on Kanaan as well. Behold.

“The story of my life with my best moments,” Kanaan wrote with the video. “After 12 hours we’re done. The story of my life with the most important events. Thank you very much Niki and Tarso!”
