We are now five months away from the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
With that date looming, Indianapolis Motor Speedway set out last year to renovate certain parts of the 105-year-old track in time for the race in May.
One of the updates to the 2.5-mile track is to the roof over the upper deck seating on the frontstretch grandstands.
The project is still underway and IMS tweeted out these pictures of the construction.
