McLaren has confirmed that it will unveil its car for the 2016 Formula 1 season on February 21, one day before the start of pre-season testing.
Few details are known about the launch dates for the majority of the grid, with only Haas (February 21) and Williams (February 22) making announcements so far.
Ferrari had been rumored to unveil its 2016 car on Monday as part of a ‘Ready Set Red’ Twitter campaign, only for it to be a contest to see it first with an undefined launch date.
In a tweet sent by McLaren on Monday, the British team confirmed that it would take the wraps off its Honda-powered MP4-31 car on Sunday February 21.
Pre-season testing begins in Barcelona, Spain on February 22.
