Campos Racing has confirmed its line-up for the forthcoming GP3 Series season.
Campos finished seventh in the final team standings in 2015, scoring 51 points all courtesy of Alex Palou.
The Spanish racer will return to Campos for a second season in GP3 in 2016 and hopes to build on a quietly impressive debut campaign.
“I’m happy to be back in the GP3 Series driving a Campos Racing’s car,” Palou said.
“I’m entirely convinced we will be able to build on the experience gained last year to be competitive from the scratch. I’m looking forward to driving the GP3 car again.”
Palou will be joined by Russia’s Konstantin Tereshchenko, who raced for Campos in the final three rounds of the 2015 season, and series newcomer Steijn Schothorst.
“I am very happy to be part of Campos Racing for my third consecutive year,” Tereshchenko said. “This is my first year in the GP3 Series, it’s very exciting to grow with the team. Can’t wait for the season to get started.”
“I’m extremely happy to be able to work together with Campos Racing this season,” added Schothorst. “I’m very motivated to give the best I can and I’m sure together with team we can get very strong results throughout the season!”
The first GP3 pre-season test takes place on March 22 at Estoril in Portugal.
