Although times were irrelevant, they still improved on the second day of Pirelli’s wet weather tire test at Circuit Paul Ricard owing to different track conditions.
Monday’s running was completed in full wet conditions while Tuesday saw the three teams running on a simulated drying track.
Sebastian Vettel led the way for Ferrari having taken over from Kimi Raikkonen, and posted the best lap of the week at 1:06.750. Daniil Kvyat of Red Bull (1:06.833) and Stoffel Vandoorne of McLaren (1:07.758) were also on course today.
It was a busier day than Monday, with the three drivers and teams combining to complete 374 laps on the day.
For the two days in total of wet weather running, Pirelli reported 659 laps (2,326 kilometers) completed.
No doubt, there’s been a ton of good data gathered as well.
